Practice Systems Support Coordinator 0.6FTE. Whangarei

We need a new member to support our General Practices in primary healthcare.

The Role

As our Practice Systems Support Coordinator you’ll work alongside general practices, Māori health providers, and key partners to streamline integration of primary healthcare systems.  You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting a variety of digital & data challenges and supporting practice management software on a day to day basis.

Your mahi will empower primary care practices and providers to deliver high-quality, equitable care, strengthen relationships, and contribute to better health outcomes for our communities and whānau.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, general practices, and external partners.
  • Support practices in using digital tools, resources and developing “how to” guides.
  • Identify and resolve digital and data issues, providing feedback for system improvements.
  • Advocate for improvements in systems and processes, always keeping whānau wellbeing and equity at the centre.
  • Ensure privacy, quality, and compliance with relevant health legislation and Mahitahi Hauora’s values.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A confident communicator who easily builds rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in primary/community healthcare systems and processes.
  • Data analysis and interpretation experience and skills
  • An understanding of or experience with practice management systems (e.g., Medtech EVO)
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • Someone who embodies honesty, fairness, and genuine care for others, consistently upholding our kaupapa Māori values of tika, pono, aroha, kotahitanga, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, whakamana whānau, and whakapapa in all interactions.
