Our Digital & Data team needs a new member to support our General Practices in primary healthcare.
The Role
As our Digital & Data Partner, you’ll work alongside general practices, Māori health providers, and key partners to streamline digital processes and demystify the complex integrations within our health system. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, supporting practice management software, and helping our providers deliver high-quality, equitable care.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and practice facilitators, tackling a variety of digital and data challenges each day. Your mahi will empower whānau, strengthen relationships, and contribute to better health outcomes for our communities.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, general practices, and external partners.
- Support practices in using digital tools, resources and developing “how to” guides.
- Identify and resolve digital and data issues, providing feedback for system improvements.
- Advocate for improvements in systems and processes, always keeping whānau wellbeing and equity at the centre.
- Ensure privacy, quality, and compliance with relevant health legislation and Mahitahi Hauora’s values.
Who We’re Looking For
- A confident communicator who easily builds rapport with colleagues and clients.
- 3–5 years’ experience in primary/community healthcare systems and processes.
- Skilled in analysis and interpretation of practice related data (e.g. Register Analysis, Claiming, Query Builds etc).
- Experienced with practice management systems (e.g., Medtech EVO) is a plus.
- Holds a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, and a current driver’s licence.
- Embodies honesty, fairness, and genuine care for others, consistently upholding our kaupapa Māori values of tika, pono, aroha, kotahitanga, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, whakamana whānau, and whakapapa in all interactions.
