We have a great opportunity for experienced and innovative clinicians to work within general practices helping people with mental and physical health support. The Clinicians individually will provide a hybrid of virtual and face to face behavioural health care for practices within the Whangarei area.
We are looking for two clinicians wanting to work part-time and have a total of 1.2 FTE available across the two roles.
About the role
As a Clinician working within our established and growing primary mental health care model Te Tumu Waiora, you will work as an integrated member of the practice team providing behavioural health services, and evidence-based brief interventions with individuals and their whanau to assist in improving their emotional and physical health, and overall wellbeing.
Services are provided in accordance with the principles of Te Tiriti ō Waitangi, Tikanga and Māori models of health and wellbeing. Services are culturally responsive to the needs of all service users, their whanau and community.
As a HIP your role requires the following:
Eligibility for the role.
Ideally, we are seeking clinicians’ who have previous experience, however any successful applicant/clinician new to the HIP role will be supported by specialist training.
To be considered for this role you must have:
You must have NZ citizenship or residency, or a current NZ open work visa not tied to an employer. We are not an accredited immigration employer and cannot accept applications who require visa support.
The successful applicant will be required to attend either physical or online training for this role.
An understanding of Tikanga and some ability to speak Te Reo would be an advantage.
