The Vaccine Trust Programme (VTP), led by the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), aims to improve vaccine uptake across the life-course in Te Tai Tokerau / Northland. Through collaboration with Mahitahi Hauora and the frontline, AUT will develop co-designed initiatives for pilot over an 18-month timeframe.
To kick off the programme, AUT have requested to engage with 20 – 30 frontline staff (including registered nurses, general practitioners, and midwives) to explore factors that impact vaccine hesitancy and update in Te Tai Tokerau / Northland. Professionals have the option of attending an online interview (30 minutes maximum) or a focus group discussion (45 minutes maximum).
