Our Service and Support Packages

Our approach to service provision offers your practice flexibility and great value while enabling you to achieve the outcomes we all agree are key to delivering equity for whānau across Tai Tokerau.

We’re committed to offering ongoing value for money. We review our services and charges annually and seek feedback to make sure we remain responsive. We do this each year between March and June.

The packages

Choose the package of services that best suits the needs of your practice in achieving the models of care you want to implement to meet the obligations of the Equity for Whānau Agreement.

Our packages include:

  • All-Inclusive: Continue with the high level of comprehensive service provision you’re used to.
  • Data Intelligence: Choose a convenient ready-made bundle of high-demand data and IT services.

The All-Inclusive Package

Our All-Inclusive Package offers you the full range of high-quality Mahitahi Hauora support services you’re accustomed to, including all the benefits in the Data Intelligence Package. Everything is covered, with no extra costs.

This package is designed to give your practice maximum cost-efficiency across the full range of Mahitahi Hauora services.

The Data Intelligence Package

Data Intelligence is a convenient package covering your practice’s data and IT service needs.

It covers the services you currently receive from us for ManageMyHealth, Dr Info, UpToDate, Vensa*, HealthLink, Procon SACS and Patient Dashboard, and Thalamus.** In Medtech, it covers: Dashboard, screen fees, Predict, and MIMS to our current contribution levels. You’ll also get expert data analysis and regular updates to Thalamus as we develop new features in this channel.

You’ll also get a one-hour session with your relationship partner each month at no charge to guide and monitor your progress towards your objectives under the Equity for Whānau Agreement. They’ll also provide problem-solving and in-practice support during that time.

If you need additional support services, there’s a simple $85.36+GST flat fee per hour for Mahitahi Hauora member practices and $192.06+GST per hour for non-members. We will let you know the estimated cost before doing any work so you are in control of your budget and decisions.

You’ll have access to locum coordination and workforce development services, but you’ll need to pay booking fees and admin fees. These fees vary depending on the event. Mahitahi Hauora members will get a 50% discount on the booking and admin fees.

**Data Intelligence does not include developing bespoke dashboards in Thalamus.

Pricing

The pricing structure varies depending on which package you choose:

  • All-Inclusive is a base fee model with no extra charges.
  • Data Intelligence combines base fees, for services included in the package; and pay-as-you-go, for services not included.

Base fees are calculated in bands, depending on the size of your enrolled population. To make it quick and easy to work out your charges, we’ve set the same base fee rate across your entire enrolled population. So, if you have a large enrolled population, you’ll pay the same reduced per-head charge for each person – there’s no need to pay more per head until you cross the threshold into the next band.

Mahitahi Hauora does not seek to make a profit on any of our service packages.
