Mahitahi Hauora hosted a full day spirometry competency course on 25 January 2024 which was attended by 18 clinical staff members from Mahitahi Hauora general practices.

This was the third spirometry workshop to be hosted by Mahitahi Hauora, and takes the total number of general practice staff with spirometry training to 36. Following this latest workshop, 17 Mahitahi Hauora general practices have clinicians now undergoing their full competency portfolio and it is expected that these practices will start to offer spirometry soon.
