Our expert data analysis service provides key information about practice data, claiming data, immunisations for adults and children, and system level measures indicators.
Expert data analysis enables our practices to deliver better health outcomes and to follow up on patients that are identified in the reports. This helps practices get the right care to the right patients at the right time, in an efficient and effective way.
As we continue to build partnerships and networks, we expect our data analysis services to expand beyond general practices. Expert data analysis ties into all our projects: for example, it provides us with intelligence on the performance of the Clinical Hub; and the rich data from our Single Coordination Hub could enable providers to foresee needs and plan accordingly.
To deliver the most value for our general practices and other partners, expert data analysis needs to go hand-in-hand with developing user-friendly IT platforms that deliver data and information in a convenient, easy-to-use way. Each general practice Mahitahi Hauora supports has access to a customised partner portal that pulls together important sources of information and reporting channels, making it easy to find files, links, data, and to update practice details.
Our Partner Portals offer:
We’ve also created a customised suite of dashboards to help practices track their progress towards the clinical indicators in the Equity for Whānau Agreement. These dashboards are part of a solution we’re developing to make it easy for practices to tell us how they’re tracking towards their annual plans.
Going forward, we plan to look at other sources of data to provide better insights into health for Northlanders, such as Stats NZ and data from local iwi providers.
