Seeking expressions of interest to participate in interviews on vaccine uptake and hesitancy

The Vaccine Trust Programme (VTP), led by the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), aims to improve vaccine uptake across the life-course in Te Tai Tokerau / Northland. Through collaboration with Mahitahi Hauora and the frontline, AUT will develop co-designed initiatives for pilot over an 18-month timeframe.

To kick off the programme, AUT have requested to engage with 20 – 30 frontline staff (including registered nurses, general practitioners, and midwives) to explore factors that impact vaccine hesitancy and update in Te Tai Tokerau / Northland. Professionals have the option of attending an online interview (30 minutes maximum) or a focus group discussion (45 minutes maximum).

  • General Practitioners will be paid $125/hour; and in addition, receive a $50 prezzy card on completion of the discussion or interview.
